Multiple sclerosis affects multiple areas of the brain and spinal cord, leaving lesions that interfere with the ability of the nervous system to send and receive signals. A person with multiple sclerosis may experience trouble walking, muscle stiffness or spasms, weakness, vision problems, or numbness or tingling sensations, among other symptoms.
At Barrow Neurological Institute, our multiple sclerosis specialists strive to alleviate those symptoms, as well as to educate and empower you as you fight MS, and to enlist you as a partner as we search for new, more effective treatments. Through access to clinical trials, advanced facilities, and our deep base of clinical knowledge, we hope that we can give you a sense of hope, determination, and purpose as you partner with us for your care.
